From the President

Welcome to the Wake NCAE website. Our purpose for this website is to inform and invite you to explore the many resources available to members of our Association. As a voluntary member organization, we exist for the members' needs and are supported by the dues collected.

Wake NCAE is nearly 5000 members strong and growing. We represent teachers, administrators, teacher assistants, bus drivers, custodians, cafeteria workers, clerical workers, and all other employees who work for the Wake County Public School System. Dues are paid by payroll deduction from October through May in eight equal installments, cash or credit card. For specific dues amounts, you can talk to an Association Representative at your worksite, or call the office at 919-782-8908.

We are the only professional Association recognized by the administration and school board as speaking for the employees in Wake County. Policy changes are brought to our attention for discussion and input.

If you are a member, I urge you to become involved in the work of our Association. If you are not a member, you may become a member at any time during the year.

All Wake County Public School System employees are eligible to join. Every work site has a Wake NCAE representative who will assist you with a membership form.
